Reboot No. 00: Khan Academy Basic Math

Lots of times we in the CRASH Space community love taking on the hardest, newest, most tortuous problems we can. These, gentle hacker, are not those tasks. These amiable activities will hopefully soothe and distract between bouts of pushing that rock up a hill.

Starting with tiny problems that can be solved in less than a minute. I recommend some basic math on Khan Academy, a non-profit learning platform. Pre-algebra seems like a good balance between too-easy and too hard where many CS folks will want to start, but I’ll admit, I did some kindergarten. It was fun. Simple, solvable, sound effects. Yet because it’s “math class” some how it doesn’t feel like a total time waster. Move up to harder classes, or not. Donate if you can.
