All Events Cancelled Until May 15th (edited)
Today, Mayor Eric Garcetti announced that the “Safer At Home” order for the Cit And County of Los Angeles has been extended until at least May 15th. Accordingly, CRASH Space will be closed until at least that time and all in-person events until then have been cancelled.
The COVID Response Team has done remarkable work in the last couple weeks, organizing a robust grassroots effort, and have delivered over 1000 pieces of PPE to local hospitals.
We need help raising money to pay for all the raw materials needed to make thousands of face masks, shields, and other personal protective equipment. Please visit our GoFundMe campaign and donate if you can, and please share the link on your social media networks to spread the word and help us raise the funds we need to help our local community with desperately needed protective equipment.

The “Safer At Home” order from the City and County of Los Angeles has CRASH Space closed until at least April 19th.
As the COVID-19 coronavirus situation evolves, that date is tentative, and the closure may be extended beyond that date. The safety of our guests and members is our number one priority, and we will continue to follow official guidance on closure.
We have mobilized a response to the COVID-19 outbreak, reaching out to local makers and working together to serve personal protective equipment to local hospitals. If you want to learn more about this effort and join in, please see our COVID Response page.

The COVID-19 coronavirus situation continues to evolve rapidly.
Today, California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti both issued executive orders restricting public gatherings by ordering certain types of businesses to close temporarily.
The purpose of these actions is to avoid concentrations of people in order to slow the spread of the coronavirus so as to not overwhelm our health care system and help ensure high-risk individuals who need testing and care can get it.
CRASH Space is not strictly speaking covered by these orders, but the Board of Directors has decided to do our part to help with the effort and cancel all events at CRASH Space until April 1st.
We will continue to evaluate the situation, and will make adjustments as necessary.
Thank you for your understanding.
