class – Homebrew on game console…

November 3rd, at 8pm.

Jok will cover how to setup complete toolchains for homebrew development of game/tools for the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DSi.

After a quick overview of the history of both platforms (a little bit touching on GBA/DS/Gamecube/Wii), we’ll dive into the setup of the compiler, linkers and libraries that are available as well as the hardware required on the console to actually run the code.

If you have a DSi/DS, bring it over! bring a laptop (Linux/Windows/OSX should all be supported, and I’ll go over whatever the attendees are using at the presentation) but otherwise Materials included.
