So You Want To Be An Officer…
While CRASH Space empowers its members to do most anything they’d like to without requiring an official title (redecorate the rooms, host events, start community gatherings, etc), as a nonprofit we also have a set of volunteer leadership roles that legally need to be filled each year in order for us to continue to exist.
If you are the type of person who wants to be part of the more formal processes at CRASH Space, read on! If you are someone who likes the flexibility of less commitment, check out our FAQ page on how you can do one-off projects for CRASH.

How It Works
- Nominations – A call for nominations will be sent out, or you can nominate someone here: https://forms.gle/edYeBfwfqYZuBAZY7 . We highly encourage nominating yourself, the fact it’s called a nomination is just a chosen term, really it is a way for people to express their interest in the position. Be cool like the current VP and nominate yourself!
- Meet The Candidates – After candidates have accepted their nomination, they will have a chance to talk about themselves during the March 17th Tuesday meeting. If you can’t make that meeting, you can still run.
- Election – CRASH Space members will receive a ‘ballot’ (google form) where they will put in their votes
- Annual Meeting – The winners of the election will be announced during the annual meeting
