Winter of Tomes Autumn Field Trip Wrap Up

We are gearing up for the Winter of Tomes, where we will expand on what we learned during the Summer of Zines and focus on book binding and larger publications.

Our first event was an Autumn Field trip to the International Print Museum in scenic Carson, California for the annual LA Printer’s Fair.

It was inspiring to see so many ideas and techniques. From punk rock Risograph prints to hyper detailed many-pass

Starblight Bindery

Of course we swung by Crash Member Starblight Bindery’s booth: https://starblightbindery.bigcartel.com/ where we perused her book binding kits and manuals. We hope to have them teach a workshop this winter for our Winter of Tomes!
